Skin-Loving 'JSHealth Green Smoothie' Recipe
This is our founder Jess’ OG green smoothie recipe and our go-to for a dose of skin-loving nutrients at the JSHealth Vitamins HQ!
Why? It’s loaded with vital nutrients, chlorophyll and antioxidants. Chlorophyll is the most abundant plant pigment, responsible for giving plant foods their green colour and is especially high in kale and spinach. This pigment has been found to support and block damage to DNA. Antioxidants are key for protecting the body and your skin from free radical damage to prevent premature ageing.
We’ve taken the beauty-boosting benefits to the next level by adding a serve of our delicious Greens + Collagen formula. This blend includes the benefits of organic Wheatgrass and Barley Grass, along with organic Broccoli, Kale and Spinach. These nutrient-rich greens are bursting with vitamins C, E, K and folate, phytonutrients and antioxidants to support vibrant wellness as part of a varied and balanced diet. Plus, we added our hydrolysed Marine Collagen to replenish collagen levels to help the skin appear plump and hydrated, reduce the appearance of visible signs of ageing, enhancing skin vitality, and supporting healthy hair and nails.

JSHEALTH GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE
- 1 frozen banana, chopped
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 serve JSHealth Protein + Probiotics, or protein powder of choice
- 1 serve JSHealth Greens + Collagen
- 1 ½ cup baby spinach
- ¾ cup (185ml) milk of choice, we used almond
Combine all of the ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
