What’s the difference between Hair + Energy and Hair + Libido?
The base formulation containing Iodine (from Kelp) and Zinc in the Hair + Energy and Hair + Libido is the same. However, we have included two new ingredients in Hair + Libido, Tribulus Terrestris and Ginkgo Biloba.

The JSHealth Hair + Libido formula contains herbs Tribulus and Ginkgo, along with two forms of Kelp containing Iodine, plus Zinc.
Active ingredients per film coated tablet:Â
Tribulus terrestris (Tribulus) ext. dry conc. 200 mg,
     from dry fruit 10 g
Ginkgo biloba (Ginkgo) ext. dry conc. 120 mg,
      from dry leaf 6 g
Ascophyllum nodosum blade and stem powder dry 211.11 mg, contains Iodine 190 micrograms
Fucus vesiculosus ext. dry conc. 50 mg,
      from dry whole plant dry 1 g, contains Iodine 10 micrograms
Total Iodine 200 micrograms
Zinc amino acid chelate 50 mg,
      equiv. Zinc 10 mg
Does not contain egg, milk, peanut, sesame, soy or tree nut products, or artificial colours.
Traces of crustacea, mollusc and fish are possible through exposure of Fucus vesiculosus and Ascophyllum nodosum in the marine environment.

Adults take 1 tablet with water, once daily, with food, or as directed by your health professional.

The 200 microgram dose of Iodine (sourced from kelp) in our Hair + Libido supplement is at a specific dose, which is higher than the Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) level of 150 micrograms for men and women above 18 years of age. However it is well below the Australian upper level of intake (UL) of 1,100 micrograms.

Tribulus is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to support and maintain healthy libido and healthy sexual function. Zinc supports testosterone levels and healthy reproductive hormones. Ginkgo, Iodine and Zinc maintain cognitive and mental function. Ginkgo supports memory and mental recall, concentration, focus and healthy blood circulation. Iodine supports thyroid gland health and thyroid hormone production. Iodine also supports energy production and maintains energy levels. Iodine and Zinc maintain healthy thyroid gland function, body metabolism, and support brain function. Zinc also maintains skin health, nail health and strength, and aids in the metabolism of carbohydrates.
Please select either our Hair + Energy OR Hair + Libido formula, but not both together. This is because each of these formulas contains a specific dose of Iodine, shown to support hair growth and health when dietary intake is inadequate.Â
They have the same active ingredients, Kelp and Zinc, however Hair + Libido contains 2 added ingredients, Tribulus and Gingko, to support libido and sexual function. The dose of Iodine present in both these formulations is at a specific level near the upper limit (but does not exceed it) and one tablet/capsule of either is the maximum amount we recommend per day.

Our Hair + Libido formula contains crustacea, fish and mollusc. This is due to the fact that it is made from a plant-based substance (Kelp) which may have come in contact with fish and crustacea in the ocean.
