So what exactly is in the formula that makes it so damn special?

Chaste Tree (vitex agnus-castus).. What on earth is this herb?

This little baby helps support our reproductive hormones, those that are involved in fertility, sexuality, menstrual cycles etc. This herb also assists in relieving symptoms of premenstrual tension - think mood swings, anxiety, irritability, bloating.. You know the drill. Finally, if you’re sick of menstrual irregularity, this herb could just become your BFF!

Dong Quai (Angelica polymorpha)

Dong Quai also helps relieve irregular periods and other menopausal symptoms! Yes please!

Vitamin B3 and B6

The beloved Bs! We love these brilliant babies as they not only help with energy production (say goodbye to that 3pm slump), but also help support the function of our nervous system, keeping us calm and relaxed. We cannot stress the importance of this in supporting hormonal function. When we’re stressed, our bodies know (you can’t hide anything from them these days!). The body goes into a state of panic and disrupts the usual functioning of our hormones. 

Magnesium

We love this little gem and we have chosen to put it in here because it helps to support muscle relaxation and function as well as blood sugar levels. These can be common issues when suffering from PMS, so having stable blood sugar levels can really help with reducing those pesky sugar cravings. 

Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha):


Falling under the category of adaptogens, Ashwagandha can help the body to adapt to stressful situations and ultimately reduce our cortisol levels. When we let cortisol rise too high, it can effect the rest of our hormones, namely our thyroid and sex hormones. 


Broccoli sprout extract 

Broccoli falls into the Brassica family of veggies. It can help our livers eliminate excess oestrogen (the female sex hormone). Broccoli contains a phytochemical (ie. an antioxidant) which can assist with the metabolism of oestrogen.
