Self-care is essential for a healthy, balanced life. Over the years, I’ve realised that small actions done daily go a long way in helping you find inner peace and calm.
I wake up each morning and avoid looking at any social media or emails, and never play on my phone. Instead, I choose to wake up and be present and breathe. I think about what I’m grateful for, move my body in a way I LOVE, and then have a JSHealth breakfast from the JSHealth App.
At breakfast each morning I take my JSHealth vitamins. At the moment I’m taking our Gut Health + Immunity probiotic. Life changing! They help me feel my best, and nourish my body naturally.
At around 9-9:30, I dive into my phone, social media and emails. By this time, I’m feeling calm and present, and ready to start work for the day!
After work every day I take 15-20 minutes to relax my mind and body. I spend this time either walking in nature, taking a bath, reading or putting my legs up against the wall. I also take my second dose of vitamins at this time, my Anxiety + Stress and my new PM+ formula for a dreamy sleep and a calm mind.
I ensure I have a calming pre-bed practice to get me ready for a good night’s sleep, which includes switching off social media by 8pm, enjoying a bath/shower and watching my favourite TV show or reading.
Getting 7-8 hours of sleep is essential for me, it gives me energy and enthusiasm for the day ahead!
