1. Try our Skin + Digestion formula
Our JSHealth Vitamins Skin + Digestion formula has seen the most INCRED results in helping people banish their pesky eczema - we are honestly blown away!
But yet, we’re not surprised… After all, this vitamin was created to include a powerhouse of vitamins and nutrients which help to improve skin health and appearance - as well as digestive health!
The Vitamin B2 and Vitamin C in the formula both work to support skin health, with Vitamin C also improving collagen formation and wound healing - killing it! This vitamin also contains Zinc, to relieve symptoms of acne, pimples and skin eruptions, and Burdock to banish skin eruptions, mild eczema and dermatitis.
What more could you want!? If your answer was ‘improved digestion’, well, we’ve also covered that! The formula contains Turmeric, Vitamins B5 and C, and Zinc to relieve digestive discomfort, promote bile secretion, and assist in the metabolism of fat, protein and carbs - say hello to incredible gastrointestinal health! We are SOLD!
2. Get in those Omega-3s!
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are essential for our health - a diet rich in these babies not only can prevent the development of immune system allergies, but can also reduce inflammation in the body, making you less likely to suffer from skin conditions like eczema!
You can find these miracle fats in oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines, as well as walnuts, eggs, chia seeds and flaxseeds. And if none of these take your fancy, dw, we have our very own Triple Strength Fish Oil which will cover you - AND it smells like vanilla! Mhmmmm yummy!
3. Go soap-free
Going soap-free can help your eczema immensely! And don’t stress, we’re not condemning you to a life of BO and social isolation ‘cause you stink! Opt for soap-free body wash, or choose soap without dyes or perfumes, to protect and nourish your skin.
Also, aim to moisturise your skin at least twice per day, using a fragrance-free moisturiser, to help the cracks in your skin repair, and prevent them from worsening.
Most importantly - don’t scratch! Ohhhh I know it’s tempting...it’s….infuriating… But try to press on your skin instead of scratching when you’re itchy - otherwise you’ll only make the cracks, sores and inflammation worse!
4. Love your gut!
Surprisinging, eczema and other skin conditions can begin in your gut! If your good and bad bacteria is out of balance, or your gut health is in need of a helping hand, this can show in your skin!
So consider taking a good quality probiotic - like our JSHealth Gut Health + Immunity, adding some more fibre to your diet in the form of foods such as sweet potato and quinoa, and ensuring you’re eating a diverse diet rich in wholefoods, fruits and vegetables!
And for an extra boost, consider adding a good-quality probiotic, with a strain specific to skin health or eczema if you can! Our Gut Health + Immunity formula is a great place to start - it contains three strains of bacteria to help support your gut flora, intestinal and digestive function, gastrointestinal health and healthy immune system function! The ultimate gut-lover!
